We are proud to announce that the German team achieved an outstanding success at this year’s Enduro Vintage Trophy. The team consisted of Bert von Zitzewitz, Johannes Steinel, and our esteemed club member, Uwe Weber.
For us as a club, this accomplishment holds special significance, as the last German Trophy victory dates back several decades. In 1987, in Jelenia Góra, Poland, the team celebrated a major triumph – also with Uwe Weber as a key rider, who played a decisive role in securing the world championship title for the team on his MZ.
Thus, the circle comes full: once again, Uwe Weber has proven that passion, experience, and exceptional riding skills can lead to remarkable success even after many years. His dedication to enduro sport and his contribution to true team spirit serve as an inspiration to all motorsport enthusiasts.
Our gratitude and congratulations go not only to the German Trophy Team, but also to all participants in the Silver Vase and Club Team categories, who competed with great enthusiasm and commitment.
We are already looking forward to seeing many familiar faces – and meeting new friends – in early October 2026 in Zschopau, when the next edition of the Enduro Vintage Trophy takes place. A date that every classic enduro fan should mark in red on their calendar!
