Host venues for the FIM ENDURO VINTAGE TROPHY confirmed through 2026

The FIM, Polski Związek Motorowy (PZM), Federazione Motociclistica Italiana (FMI), and Deutscher Motor Sport Bund e.V. (DMSB) are pleased to announce the host venues for the next three editions of the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy (EVT), which will take place from 2024 to 2026.

This announcement follows a recent meeting between FIM President Jorge Viegas and the presidents and representatives of the respective national federations, who had each expressed interest in hosting the event in the coming years.

The following venues have been confirmed:

2024 – Camerino (Italy)
2025 – Kielce (Poland)
2026 – Zschopau (Germany)

Since its debut at the FIM International Six Days of Enduro in Spain in 2016, the EVT has steadily gained popularity. In 2021, it was held as a standalone event for the first time, taking place on the Italian island of Elba in the Mediterranean.

The event features two main categories: the Vintage Veterans Trophy, for national teams of three riders aged over 50, and the Vintage Silver Vase, for three-rider teams aged over 40. Individual entries are also welcome, with motorcycles divided into five historical classes ranging from 1975 to 1991. In addition, the event now includes the Women’s Club Team category for teams of three female riders aged over 25 as of January 1 of the event year.

Following the success of last year’s edition in Portugal, the 2023 EVT will be organized by the RFME and held from October 18 to 21 in northeastern Spain. The tests will take place between Fontanals de Cerdanya and Alp, near the borders with Andorra and France.

Italy will travel to Spain as the reigning Vintage Veterans Trophy champion, after the trio of Enrico Tortoli, Giorgio Grasso, and Tulio Pellegrinelli claimed victory in Santiago do Cacém following four fiercely contested days of competition — finishing ahead of Germany and Portugal.

An Italian trio also secured the Vintage Silver Vase title: Maurizio Bettini, Luigi Mazzoni, and Mario Graziani stood atop the podium for MC Pantera 1, while American rider Fred Hoess achieved the best individual result, ahead of Italy’s Giorgio Volpi and Adriano Micozzi.

FIM President Jorge Viegas expressed his delight at the announcement:
“It is such a fantastic event, and it is truly great news that we have confirmed the venues for the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy through to 2026. This event has captured the enthusiasm of riders and fans alike in a relatively short time. The friendly, nostalgic atmosphere is unique — and even though the riders and their machines belong to another era, the spirit of competition remains unchanged.”

John Collins, Director of the FIM Enduro Commission, added:
“Since its introduction in 2016, the popularity of the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy has continued to grow, and it is now one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the calendar. We are therefore very pleased to confirm the host venues for the next three years, and I have no doubt that this event will continue to go from strength to strength.”
