After numerous discussions with neighboring clubs and course officials regarding a possible three-day event in Zschopau, MSC MZ Zschopau e.V. im ADAC, under the leadership of race director Norbert Vogler, decided to submit an application to the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) to host the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy in 2024.
On July 18, 2023, the final deliberations took place within the FIM committee chaired by President Jorge Viegas, and the decision was made to award Zschopau the hosting rights for 2026.
Although our initial application was for next year, we are truly delighted to have been chosen to organize such a prestigious off-road event and would like to express our sincere gratitude to the FIM for their confidence in us.
This year, the Enduro Vintage Trophy will take place from October 18 to 21 in northeastern Spain. We are proud that two of our club members will represent MSC MZ Zschopau e.V. im ADAC at this event. Our race director, Norbert Vogler, will be participating for the first time, while seasoned rider Uwe Weber will once again take on the three-day challenge, aiming to defend his 2022 runner-up world championship title.
